Sir Rod Stewart is one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
From gasoline alley to another country.
Rod Stewart’s Live Tour 2017, O2 Arena London.
The end of 2016 Sir Rod Stewart was to appear at the o2.
But due to illness, Rod Stewart was unable to do the show, and the tour got cancelled.
Disappointed, to say the least mum and dad wasn’t happy.
but he later confirmed in February 2017 he would return.
Dad was unable to attend due to being unwell,
so I got to take his place and go with mum, this would be my third ever concert.
The warm-up act was ok but resembled nothing to Rod Stewarts Scottish roots.
Born and raised in London, he is of Scottish and English ancestry.
By the time they had finished, we couldn’t wait for him to appear.
Disco theme, not something I would have put with Rod Stewart. but it was good,
and the selection of music was great from ones when I was younger to his more recent songs.
My favourite ones
Tonight’s the night
A song played in memory of his father which was lovely.
And the more recent on his CD
1. Gasoline Alley
2. It’s all over now
3. Only a hobo
4. My way of giving
5. Country comforts
6. Cut across shorty
7. Lady day
8. Jos lament
9. Your my girl ( I don’t want to discuss it)
In comparison to UB40 night, it wasn’t as good.

UB40 had more memories for me.

That’s not saying Rod Stewart wasn’t good, as he was.
I also think because of where we were sitting a fair distance from the stage.
it was less enjoyable vertigo and all that.
Have you been to see this concert?
If so what did you think and have you see any of his past tours?
Thank you for coming back
