I completely and utterly love this genre of music. up beat and fun with bright clothes and lots of energy for dancing,

Swear I was born in the wrong era hehe.

When it was my 16th birthday my mum played happy birthday sweet sixteen, so many happy memories from family parties linked to the songs featured in tonight's show.

Inspired by the smash hit multi-million selling albums Dreamboats and Petticoats One, Two, Three, Four and Five, the West End sell-out sensation Dreamboats and Petticoats The Musical features some of the greatest hit songs of the Rock ‘n’ Roll era.

Who doesn't love teenage crushes and romance in a show, portrayed what being young and essentially the ugly duckling where no one would take a second look until puberty hit.

In 1961 emotions run high as young musicians Norman and Bobby compete to win a national song writing competition – and, more importantly, the attention of the gorgeous Sue! But when Bobby discovers that shy Laura is no slouch on the piano, love and rock ‘n’ roll fame beckons.

Typically the love is there plain to see for everyone but the one person, but being busy looking for it in other places will it be too late for Bobby?

Bobby who is played by Alister Higgins Seems not to have much luck enticing the girl of his dreams Sue played Laura Darton, by the songs chosen were cleverly put as the characters

The stage was of minimal changes made the show flow well there was a three-tier stage the band was at the rear end.

I loved the effects used for the pier made it feel like we were there by the sea with them.

Choreography from showed detailed moves that would have been in the swinging sixties
Their costumes were fantastic and apt for the show.

"I can say my foot didn't stop tapping all night the talented musicians was all live and blew me away!

The show is fantastic with an excellent storyline. Foot tapping hand clapping night!"
